As of November 2020, all retiring Ottawa Police Association members applying to the OPVA will have their 1st year OPVA membership fee paid for by the OPA. One of the benefits of becoming a member of the OPVA is that members can make their profile public for only members of the OPVA. This allows for old friends to search each other out and reconnect.
